Mar 26, 2017 Mac TeamViewer Unattended Access.Control your home computer from office. Apple Remote Desktop Over the Internet - Duration. TeamViewer & Wake-on-LAN. Dec 14, 2013 How to Remotely Wake a Mac from Sleep with Wake On LAN from iPhone Dec 14, 2013 - 14 Comments Using a handy network feature built into OS X and supported by most modern Macs, you can remotely wake a Mac from sleep using an iPhone (or iPod touch, iPad, and Android too). If it is Router related, I have a Billion 7800N connected to the Mac. If TeamViewer uses Bonjour, then it doesn't need Wake on LAN. Edit: TeamViewer doesn't support Bonjour. So you can pretty much ignore the rest of this post. Bonjour has a built‑in feature called Bonjour Sleep Proxy. Wake on LAN is a protocol made possible by the sending of so-called magic packets from a client to a remote device. These packets are able to locate the specific computer you intend to wake using its network card’s MAC address (a media access control address). Jan 31, 2018 Needing assistance with using the Wake on LAN feature. Here is what I've done so far. Client PC is running Teamviewer 13 on Windows 10. I have configured Wake on LAN in Teamviewer via public IP address through port 5500 My desktop is hard wired directly to my router. Statically configured my route.
